The big issue with mgs delta is this commitment to le realistic animation that can fuck up your ability to control snake. Sometimes he takes an extra step forward when you've already released the stick, sometimes he spins around in a wide circle when you try to move away from a corner, sometimes he won't start moving in the direction you point him until the transitive turn around animation is done.

Put on the box and move around and then do the same without the box. You'll feel the problem immediately.
