How in the unholy mother of fuck do I find the other two Act 3 bosses, I found the crab because he was on my map, but what about the fucking ant and the third one? I imagine ant is in the far fields and the third one is in the shellwood because there's spots that have rumbling above in zones where I think the boss should be, but I can't find any access points. I've been circling the areas trying to find entrances, but no luck.

Go for L2 attacks only, if you do it perfectly with Hunter's crest the focus effect will make the fight that much easier, it is safest to L2 after she does a butt slam or a laddle slam near the middle since that makes avoiding the maggot balls trivial to avoid
L2 > Dash away > react to her next move
You can sprint under her to bait out a butt slam attack and restart the sequence that way

So I'm fucking around with mods and there's one that shows damage values. At the moment I have two nail upgrades (shining needle).
>basic swing does 13 damage, with hunter+ you deal 16 damage after landing 5 swings without getting hit, you get no damage bonus until the frenzy gauge is maxed out
>spear throw does 39 damage
>thread storm 45 damage if all attacks connect
>counter does 32 damage if all attacks connect
So spear throw is the most consistent since it doesn't need to hit multiple times, but it's all or nothing. Thread storm locks you in place a lot longer but has the highest damage potential if you can land it correctly. Counter is the weakest but also allows you to avoid attacks.
I don't have a lot of the tools but here's some info. I have 2 tool damage upgrades.

>cogfly does 7 per hit and can hit 6 times
>drill does 60 if all hits connect
>boomerang does 7 per hit
>tacks do 5 per hit, can hit up to 4(?) times each

the quest requires enemies to be killed in particular ways for the organs to drop. i used the flame needle imbue for the scorched ones, the longpin for the skewered ones, and the architect crest charge attack for the shredded ones. i'm sure these aren't the only options, but they worked for me.

It's interesting to see that even the knight as the shade lord doesn't seem to have a lot of control over the abyss. He just shows up at the end with all of the other failed vessels to prevent some void tentacles from killing hornet and lace, but that seems to be all he can do.

To be honest, I think the surge of dwarf fans in recent years comes from people who long for that kind of kinship. A lot of fans in the west likely don't have closely tight knit families, and are probably not in a job/trade where they know their shit to a T and can make something beautiful. I still remember how in the LoTR books, Gimli was such a poetic and deep admirer of all things beautiful, but still saw things differently from Legolas. Legolas didn't understand the appeal of the crystal caves in Helm's Deep the same way Gimli did. Furthermore, in regards to a lot modern western fans, I'm sure a lot of them are now preferring characters that are sincere in what they say, in contrast to all of the Marvel movie quips we get in stories. Dwarfs are known for being blunt, but absolutely meaning what they say. Gimli himself couldn't help but laud Galadriel's beauty despite the differences in their race. my strategy was just to get my free hit in after she does the dive kick. Attacking her after the thrust attack and slash combo is unsafe because she can do a Counter attack or go immediately into a new attack.
My strategy worked, I think it's lame as fuck. I'm desperate to know if anybody beat her by actively chasing her down.

a lot of the later bosses are genuine fucking obscene for when you're allowed to fight them. if you get to the part where the game says "go get the three melodies" and then you actually go for them the high halls arena will rape your asshole and the coreway platforming is miles harder than anything else you'd have encountered yet.
if you explore they're not bad but i can easily see people getting frustrated and quitting.
