This game was always strange because I found it hidden behind my couch growing up which was unusual. That's not where games usually come from. No one else would admit to owning it or having placed it there? Why lie? It's not a big deal if you were the person who put it behind the couch.
Anyway hitting the T-Rex in the eyeball was impossible.
>Miss the T-Rex's eyeball >Charges straight at you with no chance of survival >Blast at its eye desperately >Manage to hit it out of sheer luck and it drops dead
Loved this game as a kid.

That's how I managed to do it every single time.
There was a tooltip or loading screen hint about being downwind from them or whatever but no matter what it came after me if I got remotely close.
I hunted raptors the same way, shotgun to the head/chest as they charged in.

I remember in this game, I found an ini file that contained the damage values of the weapons so i changed the damage of the pistol. I made a 10 dollar bet with my brother that I could kill a Trex with a pistol by shooting it in he eye and I 3 shot it. When he left to pay up I changed it back and then he tried to kill a T-Rex with a pistol but never was able to. I never told him how I did it.
