This was unbelievably fucking bad. This movie literally doesn't have a script and even for capeshit standards it is awful.

I couldn't believe the film could get any more stupid than the Superman clone created collecting Superman hairs. Then Lex Luthor claimed how the pointless, forced Ukraine war subplot was just an excuse to use NOT! Putin to turn the US government itself against Superman for meddling with foreign politics.

This quite literally doesn't matter, as, conveniently for Luthor, apparently Superman real parents want him to dominate Earth, and that's all it actually takes to have people turn on him. And yet Luthorcorps is allowed to have a potentially hostile metahuman alien under custody with 0 supervision from the government itself.

Man of Steel was so much better. Fuck even Batman v Superman first half before it gets stupid and ruins its much better rendition of the "humans fear Superman" trope is far better

I liked it a lot but this isn't video games!

The characters sucked a little too little. And the landscapes were a little too mesmerizing. Other than that, the story did a great job of being hyper-racist, and extraordinarily technophobic. Wow, computers sure are scary when you use them wrong! And animal farms! Hah, holy shit I'm so fucking terrified of animals using computers! Yeah, really, I think I might actually find myself a new home in the densest, most polluted city on earth just to avoid wildlife!
