Of course. I use an idealized version though. I tried playing Crystal Chronicles on Wii on a CRT this year and the bloom was eye-searing. It's hard to see bad graphics when you're being flashbanged.

mega bezel is the gold standard but my filter of choice is Koko's AIO aperture grille as it looks about 95% of my actual crt.

This is the issue with filters. They don't really work because the effect a game made for CRTs have when played on CRTs can't really be emulated by a filter because it's entirely a physical thing.

I have a CRT but if I emulate I use one of the lighter filter that doesn't fuck too much with the image quality. Btw OP RGB on a CRT looks nothing like your pic. 240p is clean and sharp with high contrast.

This post made me think of buying a fat monitor for retro emulation, and when I look up prices they are all like 75 dollars or more. There's no way hipsters have caused the demand to go up so much. I could understand with regular CRT TVs, cuz of the Smelee scene, but why computer monitors? You gotta be really nerdy to want one of those. I guess not, apparently.

make sure to also use edge discoloration filters, otherwise it's not a REAL CRT experience
