Will the new starfield expansion be to fix the fundamental problems with the game or another shitty location out in the middle of nowhere that adds nothing of importance to the game

They don't even acknowledge Starfield has any problems. How are they going to fix any problems if they don't even start with acknowledging them?

He'd rather design by vibes, hell with the continuity

Nothing on God’s green earth can course correct the fundamental decision of Bethesda thinking they could get away with procedural generation and expecting players to build the game for them under the guise of infinite roleplaying.

It's assessment will heal once it comes to Free2playStation. All the nigging and negging is just disguised port begging.

A problem has to exist for it to be acknowledged.

If the next expansion adds in ~500 new Points of Interest so every planet isn't the same 5 fucking PoIs repeating themselves over & over...I dunno, at least then Starfield wouldn't be such fucking tasteless textureless gruel. How the FUCK did anyone at Bethesda think they could get away with that shit? Even play testers should've been asking why do I keep seeing the same empty cave, the same base with same mob & object placement, OVER and OVER? Did you not make content? Did the 10000 pajeets Emil outsourced to scam the shit out of those dumb old Boomers who run Bethesda?

this expansion was already in production long before they got the feedback so dont expect anything good

Emil has also said to just ignore criticisms so don't expect anything better
Should have just been a first contact story over multiverse bullshit

They're still spending time and money to develop expansions for this shitshow? I want the same time machine Todd owns to go back to 2012 when this would have been slopped into GOTY.

do they fix the flashlight or at least let it get upgraded?
do melee weapons get to be customizable?
if either answer is no then it's shit

Game made by NPCs does need direction.

I've been playing through the Mass Effect trilogy lately (previously I only played ME2) and I've really been enjoying it. There is definitely a market for open world scifi rpgs, bethesda's just too damn retarded to capitalize on it.

>do they fix the flashlight or at least let it get upgraded?
No, but there are mods for it
https://www.nexusmods.com/games/starfield/search?keyword=flashlight

>do melee weapons get to be customizable?
Yes, but aside from the melee weapon you get from the Shattered Space DLC, there's no physical changes when you upgrade them yet. It's mostly just:
1. Sacrifice Damage for Faster Weapon Swing Speed
2. Sacrifice Weapon Swing Speed for Extra Damage
3. Ignore Enemy Armor to Deal Extra Damage
4. Add Elemental Damage
