DEI was a social trend that was popular among the youth so plenty of corporations appropriated it. Now that there is backlash against it, corporations are rapidly abandoning it.

Can somebody remind me again why everyone was saying Vanguard was bad? It's almost like once people found out Black Rock was doing DEI bribes that the narrative shifted that Vanguard was the real bad guy. From what I understand Vanguard did some woke investing because it's what some customers were demanding from their investment products and all that stuff was kept in a separate area away from normal investments. And after a few years they dropped the program because it wasn't profitable at all for the clients.
