I love playing a game that was clearly playtested by people up the devs ass, it makes the game so good! I love metroidvanias with no discernable power increase and terrible fucking platforming. Clearly made for another generation's nostalgia, even the art style is fucking miserable.

newgrounds attracts an edgy younger audience that can't buy games regularly, so it lowers their expectations. from newgrounds you get mascot horror and meat boy and hollow knight.
