The thing to notice about this, and any modern media targeted at younger audiences, is the erratic camera movements. It could be anything happening on screen, but in those 4 seconds the camera moves 3 times - 2 zoom outs and a swipe. Itβs designed to keep your attention by constant stimulation, which in turn fries your attention span.
I really try to keep my kids away from this shit, but itβs getting increasingly difficult as itβs shoved into more and more modern movies and shoes. We watched Kikiβs delivery service the other day and its pacing is so different compared to modern movies that the kids kept saying βthey were boredβ, despite liking the movie. They liked it anytime something was moving on the screen, which is my point.
Kids and adults have to learn to appreciate the slower, more deliberate aspects of life. Everything canβt be in your face moving all the time with funny music and TikTok camera angles. And this video is the perfect example of that.
