It's hilarious how even daring to criticize HK would get 10 posters up your ass instantly telling you it's the best shit ever, even when you point out its numerous gameplay flaws and now you've got the exact same thing going on with the sequel. Silksong is an intensification of those same flaws, and just like that game the fanbase is doubling down on defending these two overrated games to the death.

HK at least doesn't have a text blurb telling you that your waifu took 1000 dicks before.

I liked Hollow Knight well enough, but didn't understand all the hype when I played it. I love the art direction and music, and the early and later parts of the game were great, but I felt like the middle was kind of "meandering" for lack of a better term. Was also disappointed that you never got any new weapons, it was just the nail the entire game.

The only things I've heard about Silksong is that movement is better and the game is harder. I probably won't know much more til I play it in a year or two.

The main thing that sucked in HK was the slow ass movement and exploration, and Silksong fixed that, so I can't imagine it's worse
