serious question, what's the best option price/quality wise for gaming? console, laptop or desktop?
I was considering building a PC but damn the costs rack up, especially the GPU, while a PS5 Pro would be cheaper but much less games, how long would a laptop be feasable?

I gave up and just started streaming. My TV supports streaming and I just finished assassin's creed shadows and didn't really notice the lag

A mid range PC is not that much pricier than a PS5 pro and it lets you play almost every game ever released without having to pay.

Laptop is the worst option.

I paid $220 for my 4060 and it runs great. What is this weird obsession that people need the absolute most powerful components constantly? Who gives a shit about having 240fps in God of War?

Depends what vidya you're into. I could stick with Switch 2 for the next 8 years because it got pretty much everything I want. PC is expensive at first but you can pirate everything. Gotta upgrade my PC at some point, it's getting old.
Never get PC handheld or laptop in my opinion. They suck.

Nothing will ever beat a desktop.
>Muh price of parts
You're likely retarded and don't know what parts to pick or you're buying pre-builds which are ridiculously expensive for no reason.
