Why does Nintendo keep reusing the same map?

Cause it's super cool.

that's super cool actually. all games should be like that, and expand and world, or connect existing places with consistency

EoW uses LttP's map but makes it bigger

This is actually genius because the ludokino narrative and its implications work with making the map smaller.
>you're older and go back to an old stomping ground
>everything is smaller, less impressive, decaying away, and melancholic

I always just appreciated it because i really didn't want to go through ALL of Kanto all over again. I just wanted the updates. Why do I need to spend another 10 hours going down the bicycle path when I just did that last year?

>drive around the neighborhood I used to live in when I was 3 to 6 years old
>actually a lot larger than I remember it, since I'm actually paying attention to the length of roads instead of being glued to my gameboy's screen
neat

What's the building on the very bottom right supposed to be? It's not Fuschia City, that would be to the left of it, the topography doesn't line up for the bottom right to be Fuschia.

idk either. hope this helps

So does this imply that with each map tile Link is traversing a complex Zelda 1 style maze of an overworld and we're just skipping that part?

Honestly, it's actually the cool thing to do with a series. As long as they keep expanding the map and show the older areas changing with the events of the previous game, I'd have no problem with it.

If it feels larger than it means you weren't paying attention as a kid or the part of your brain that does spatial awarenes is damaged. I wouldn't be surprised if you get lost easily and need directions or a GPS.

You're larger as an adult than as a kid. The world is objectively smaller when you're older.

He literally said that. You were so desperate to have a "cool guy" 4chan post that you just screamed to everyone that you have an inability to read. Back to tiktok, faggot
