Larian somehow nailed the edgelord protagonist aesthetic with Default Durge and then just tossed him in the bin like a used tissue. Dude had prime "fallen hero turned wildcard villain" companion energy. Would’ve been 10x better than Wyll's wet blanket "I hate being cool" arc. And yeah that Orin garbage was such wasted potential, they could’ve turned it into a whole questline about confronting your past literal self, instead we get an edgy journal and a corpse. Very cool when you make them look like dragons. Generally uncool whenever WotC does it with their weird, squat, tendril hair looking things. BG3 is definitely the best they've looked in a while.
