I haven't played Silksong as I'm going through Hollow Knight but unless Silksong has better combat I can't say this games are anything but alright Metroidvania but Hollow Knight has so many problems. One Combat is very one note. Two, too much repeating segments as the game not only has little save points but there are always far away from the Boss Arenas so if you die you gotta go back. Three you are fragile as shit and there's not that many upgrades for your health. In Metroidvania Castlevanias you rarely die and in Metroid you might die more but you are also more powerful in that game.
