As an aside I know that people root for charismatic anti-heroes like Tony Soprano or Walter White but treating Thomas Downes as a scumstain for "intentionally coughing" (LMAO) at Arthur is downright ridiculous. What the fuck is wrong with people?

They are treated as """bad""" guys. The game is schizophrenic because the van der linde gang was supposed to be a band of ruthless murderers but we can't have unironic pieces of shit as our protagonists in vidya so all you'll really get is Micah Bell (with the writers pointing a bright neon "villain" sign at him ever since the prologue). the rest of the game puts you up against le capitalists, le racist rednecks, le corrupt policemen, le army fighting the natives and treats the gang as being morally in the right in these conflicts. like in rhodes the whole debacle isn't presented as being morally in the wrong but as a show of stupidity coming from Hosea/Dutch underestimating the two families.

But he is made invincible and can't be killed even if you throw a dynamite at him. This movie game tries be all serious and artsy, but it's just a dumb video game. I HATE IT SO MUCH.

i hated that when i helped some dude find his friend mauled by a bear, he ran straight to his body and said some shit like "i wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy". then the game spawned a bear running at him but even though i noticed it quickly and pumped 4 shotgun shells into its skull point blank it still mauled the guy to death because the whole event was scripted.

I drove through most of America and the south was probably the friendliest part of the US. People say hello and I got offered a cold beer more than once. The biggest issue was people starting conversations with me when they heard my accent when I was busy. The north wasn't bad but people just walk through you, its almost like they don't see anyone around them. I think I could have been stabbed and people would just step over me, and talking to someone you don't know for any reason just gets you weird looks.
