Between Limp Bizkit and 9/11, it's hard to tell what the worst thing to happen in the 2000s was. But it's the reason we'll never get 2000s nostalgia the way we still do with the 80s and 90s.

Fred Durst was basically 1999 personified.

Also, what the fuck was P. Diddy doing just hanging out behind Limp Bizkit's Woodstock 99 set?

So that’s why Sonic Movie referenced Limp Bizkit

Wes Borland, the only reason why Limp Bizkit had good riffs (See: Results May Vary on what happens when he isn't part of the band)
Anonymous No.720071785 [Report]
I will say after so many years, I can safely say that Limp Bizkit is not an album band but by god they can put on a good live show.
They are anti-SOAD in every way that you can think of that phrase.

Fred is a gamer through and through and somewhat smart business man. Dude made sure that if game wanted to use their music, he would have to be included in as a playable character. Dude made money from letting them use the song and some royalties from appearing in the game too. Say what you want about the music but he knew how to advertise

Limp Bizkit was late 90s. Most of the iconic songs (Nookie, Break Stuff, Re-Arranged, Counterfeit, Faith) came out on the first two albums.

Then Chocolate Starfish had the other what I would consider iconic LP songs.
They had something going for them with the first three albums.

I liked their first album the best, but the screaming was killing Fred's voice so he toned it down a bit after that.
Late 90's into 00's was the last time you could hear some decent rock and metal on the radio.

Hard disagree. It was good until the mid-2000s and only had a noticeable drop somewhere in the 2013.
Anonymous No.720089705 [Report]
No the issue with the early and mid 00s is they were functionally the same as the 80s and 90s until Social Media took everything over in 2007.
Before 2007/2008 when the economy went to shit and everyone (including normies) was suddenly online the 00s had the same good economy upbeat optimism vibe that the 90s had.

Also what no-one really talks about is with video games in the 00s there were some good games around but nearly everyone was 10k hour deep into one of 12 popular MMORPGs at the time, in between the occasional C&C Generals LAN party or playing Fallout 3 when it came out.
