in the game you play as that goat called Diana who one day got mad at her parents and ran away looking for a town her grandmother mentioned once but it turns out the town it's stuck in the early 80's due to a curse, like silent hill but without the monsters, in that place you get involved in a crime and have to play the detective, you go around town talking with "people" to learn the lore behind what is happening, then there's points were you have to solve a specific mystery and the game will go into a strange tabletop game with cards, the cards are the clues to solve the mystery based on what you have learned around town, if you play them correctly you can advance, but by the end of the game you realize you were played by the criminal the whole time and the cases you solved were pure bullshit.
but the fun part of the game is the slice of life part, you can get an apartment, decorate it and buy clothes for your character, you can go to the beach, hang out with friends, date them, fish in the sea, play a bunch of mini games or work in a restaurant to get money to buy your stuff, like some kind of vacation simulator.
