You'll get stutters like that whenever ANY engine leverages on the fly shader compilation and geometry/texture streaming. None of which are required to be enabled for a UE5 game, nor are developers required to use the default UE5 implementation of them.

Most of UE problem happened with CPU and you have to play around with external setting outside of in game quality/video preset in order to make everything works.
Days gone for example have this stupid issue of microstutter in pc port, so what is the solution to fix that problem? Lowering the video quality? Run the program as administrator? Nope, the solution is to change your output sound to Soundbar and the game will run smoothly after that. And that's just days gone

>The First Person rendering method prevents player hands/weapons from clipping into in-world objects, and includes a separate field of view (FOV), which means developers can specify a FOV that differs from the rest of the world for their first person assets.

These were originally developed for UE4.

Somehow those remakes took more time to make than the originals.

It's ironic that games take more time than ever to make, despite everyone saying that UE5 and raytracing will make game development faster and cheaper.

>Why is Unreal Engine so hated?
There is nothing wrong with it fundamentally but it has become the lead platform for sholveware given how easy it is to make a game from a template.

Every dev group uses the same template with the same default settings mean for higher end PCs even if the game uses simplistic assets.
You would see a massive change if the templates Epic provided were better well suited for lower end equipment's but they are demos meant to impress potential buyers, so when a company with enough capital gets the license the just handle it as is to a punch of pajeets who repeat the same 10 steps they were taught off from youtube.
Hence all you get is shit.

If anything you get more playable games off from UE5 than when the industry used UE3 as a template, so it is an improvement but you know, you get more trash that you would otherwise get.
