because there is a difference between a piece of media created with sexual elements in mind designed to appeal to a demographic of people and a piece of media that is designed for a certain group of people than then also includes sexual elements in it to push an agenda.
if you make something designed to sexually appeal to a certain group of people, that is the core intent of the design, that is who its for, who its marketed to, then there is no problem.
but if you make something that is targeting an audience for something non sexual, and then suddenly have a character talk about how much of a faggot they are, unprompted and irrelevant to the rest of it, before returning to how it was prior, then its reasonable for people to think this aspect of it was badly done or had some other agenda.
it would also be equally weird to mislead people about what something is and claim its not for some very specific market it when in reality obviously is.
