Just replace the microswitches with omron 80 million click ones. Pretty much any new mouse these days comes with the cheapest 5m switches, at best maybe 20m.

It's dead simple to unsolder (that's solder with an L, not "sodder") the old microswitches & solder in the much more robust versions.

do you happen to levitate and slap your mouse buttons with your fat nigger fingers instead of resting and clicking normally? idk how else to get a mouse to double click, people talk about it but i haven't really experienced it.

>double clicking on its own
90% of the time its a static charge build-up thing.
Sounds ridiculous, but unplug your mouse and just spam click it for 2 full minutes.
Plug it back in and usually that'll fix it for another few months.

I had the exact same thing and thought I was going crazy until I found this out on an obscure hardware forum post from 17 years ago.

no I click like a normal person and sometimes it registers as a double click. Honestly its more annoying outside of games like when im trying to edit a picture or move a window.

Best I can do is some spare microswitches and a soldering iron.
Anonymous No.720101014 [Report] >>720101734
double click is fixed by using tweezers and a screwdriver you don't even have to solder shit just look it up on youtube dumbasses
you disassemble the microswitch then wiggle it around to get it back into shape, clean it up in case if needed, put it back in and it just works

Here's the black pill about computer mice
No one can recommend you a good one because the most important aspect of a good mouse isn't its objective technical specs like sensors, switches, weight, etc. but the subjective shape and feel of it in your hand
What you should do is consider what mice have felt good in hand in the past and then find something similar by comparing using eloshapes.com

Get anything with omron switches, unless you're good with replacing the switches yourself. I've dealt with logishit mouses for years when I was young, and hated when they all did that.

For years I had a Perixx mouse with omron switches, but bricked the thing during an update. Ended up buying this Cooler Master mouse like in picrel. Very cheap when on sale, has omron switches, and from a brand I trust more than the numerous chink ones out there.

I had a bad switch and replaced it. Feels good man. Wish sensors were as easy to replace. Soldering is fun and I like the smell.

You can just open the switch and scratch away the oxidation on purple arrow part and its mating surface below.
Anonymous No.720102125 [Report]
>>720088085 (OP)
Did you even attempt to fix the issue first? Most of the time you can solve it by opening the mouse up and cleaning out the microswitches underneath, or you can just solder in new ones since anything made after 2010 is going to be using the exact same standard microswitch pinout.

Rapoo, 30-50$ aliexpress or amazon
Wide, good length, good weight, 3 week battery life, best sensor. I do suggest aftermarket feet to go with whatever mousepad you have. The stocks are kind of scratchy. The 100% PFE feet i got on ebay aren't much better, but I can't use glass. The surface doesn't trap grime or sweat at all.
I returned 5 chinkmice until I settled on this one. Lifetime steelseries/razer/logi user. I think I'll keep using this one for a long time.

~$15 ergonomic wireless mouse & keyboard from anker or whatever the chinese are calling it these days, lexasomething. i throw them in my dead electronic box when they break or glitch and get a new one, like paper towels. mechanical keyboards destroy your hand/finger joints and are obnoxiously loud PLUS the input delay from having to press harder/farther. imagine a mechanic mouse lmao fucking retarded.
the mouse im using now is a frankenmouse, i took a part the old busted ones and made a new one using all the parts that werent broken. still going strong after 7 months, that was fun.
oh i looked it up, guess its technet and $20 now that sucks, used to be $12 7 years ago but this is the exact one i use. perfection, if a lil flimsy.

Darmoshark M3, bought it around 2 years ago, battery doesn't last very long anymore and I can't find replacement batteries so I need a new one, other than that, no complain, works perfectly while plugged in.

Sort of. They wouldn't really be necessary if companies were just using higher quality mechanical switches. But they should be prone to less issues.

the doubleclicking plague is due to poorly designed circuits that can't deal with microswitches naturally increasing in resistance after months of use. that's not the users' fault, so why are you getting so mad at them?
