It's not a fake queue. They let people in in batches. Unless you are literally the ONLY person logging in right that second you will see a "queue" of the other people also trying to log in at the same time. Think of it as lining up for a bus that takes you from point A to point B. The bus only has 50 seats and it has to travel from the pickup spot to the drop off. Everyone that lined up from that point is in line to get on the next bus. It's only really a queue if you have to wait for a second bus to arrive.
