Why the fuck wouldn't it be? It certainly deserves to be there more than Star Wars Outlaws, since you spend the majority of the game's time in a spaceship and not an Ubislop sandbox.

It's objectively not.
It's an arcade version of Space Engineers where they use billions of planets as the content in place of gameplay they lack compared to SE.
I like NMS for what it is but it's by far not the best space game.

No because it's not a space sim, it's a space minecraft adventure. A game that doesn't portray accurate size scales cannot ever be the best space game.
