Beat Last Judge. I think I'm just having personal issues acclimating to the playstyle the game wants me to be doing, but in the last two or three attempts I think I got into the right rhythm and found the right places to use tools. Using the boomerang and the fractured mask helped, though I wish I was able to find that vendor without needing to see someone point out where he was. I still believe that boss damage should vary between 1-2 masks depending on the attack however I'm just gonna go forward with the mindset that I have three health seeing as how I'm taking two damage from stage hazards and non-heavies in the Underworks

I already reverted my save to do the finale normally but has anyone else gotten themselves cursed during Act 3? I was dicking around trying to find everything and got afflicted. The physician Yarnaby told me to get an item from the two guys in Sinner's Road but before that right as I was into Act 3 I did check and they were dead in their hut (bodies on the floor that look like them). Yes, I completed their roach meat quest in Act 2; No, I did not run into them again while running around beforehand (I didn't check again and just reverted immediately after I saw there was no item in the hut). I'm wondering if anyone here has run into this and if there's an alternative way to get the item to get cured. I've checked the steam forums and saw some people asking about it but don't know the answer.

Honestly, I can now say the most retarded thing I did was running around to the secret areas instead of just following the main quest and acquiring at least two more upgrades for the nail.
I've managed to beat Groal with just a single nail upgrade and it was the worst fucking thing ever, to not even mention the runback sucks ass even if you found the secret bench.
Rosaries are shit to gather in the early game, but in later you farm this shit at mach speed.

Beast is just outrageously good at facetanking bosses, the bind buff plus the flintslate and nectar tools basically lets you stay in the face of the bosses and press X until they die. I only know of two. Pebb in Bone Bottom will string you 60 counts for 80 but he moves once you buy his real stock and I don't know where he is. After that Mort in Far Fields will make the same transaction, he's inside that hut with the pay-door but you should instead use the beading machine that is to the right of the Halfway Home. There is a good number of bead dropping enemies along the way too if you want to farm up and secure a lot of rosaries.
For the 120 rosaries, you buy those from the vendor in Bellhart for 140 beads.

Still stuck on last judge. I was stuck on her yesterday technically but I played her more the previous day. Yesterday my brain felt like mush from 2 energy drinks the day before.

Today im fresh and fighting the judge a lot. I had to refill my flea estus 2 times already. 3 total from before. If i average 2 sips per fight that means im well over 45 tries now.

Ive got the runback speedrun mastered. I just decided to say fuck it and put on the double damage trinket. I think i got the judge to the lowest hp she has been as she did a new animation in phase 2. Maybe she was exploding like people say, im not sure. But my last hit on her took contact damage so we both died.

The trinket seems good because the best fights ive had against her I just dont get hit until I eat shit. And any time I heal it usually throws me off so bad that I get hit and it negates it anyways.

I beat it by using plasmium phial if I took a none fire hit and fractured mask since they synergise really well. Also magma bell to protect against fire. Then I just hit and run with the dash attack and immediately retreat. The second phase is longer than the first but there is actually a trade off in that the moveset doesn't change really other than the dash attack and the dash attack is an opportunity to get a down slash in.

You can beat her, you just have to stay calm and focus. I went in with a poisoned Longpin and Curveclaw and used them to hit her in phase 1 while she does her thurible spin attack. The rest of her attacks are easy enough to avoid aside from being in an unfortunate space when she does a jump slam/attack. In phase 2 I just tried to hit her with as many tool attacks as I could while focusing on avoiding the fire, the only issue is recognziing the startup of each attack quickly enough.
