Well let me say I don't exactly care when something is considered market-relevant. If I can't modify a system that still is seeing new releases then that's not a big deal (it'd be nice if I could, such as the PSP, but not that important to me).

But once it falls off the market I'm all for it because it can preserve functionality for the system after its sun has set.

Oh man that reminds me of my PSP. For like 10 years I had a 8gb memcard with a windows XP setup to install whenever I decided to reformat my PC. I had a memcard full of porn. I would reencode anime to watch on it. you could setup emulators, and piracy wasnt really big because the new games required the new software updates.

Man, I remember playing Trails in the Sky with my PSP hooked up to my computer with a controller hooked up to the PC and the video and audio coming through the PC. There was this weird thing you had to do of unplugging and plugging it in until it showed up as USB B instead of A or something..
