The past couple episodes he's been making them slaughter kids in blacksite facilities and they don't know why. Had them throwing their lives away to capture Nunnally, got Kallen captured, and become increasingly unstable
Scheizel arrives with a nuke (they're basically under Duress) and basically says "give me Zero and you can have Japan I guess"
Ohgi, a high ranking Black Knight and well liked by many basically says "yea this is all true, we've been mind controlled"
Scheizel gives evidence showing Zero killed the Japan Liberation Front Leaders (he did) and used his powers to manipulate people (he did) and made the Euphenator event happened (he did, but not on purpose)
Given the aforementioned Euphenator event cause a massacre, a mass rebellion, and the subsequent death of numerous JLF and Black Knight soldiers, their secret supporters (old guys funding them, all executed) and is the fight were Zero abandoned them at the last moment, they'd naturally hold immense hatred for Zero for this.
Then Schneizel reveals Zero is a Brittanian prince and makes them think they were pawns in a spat between Brittannian royalty.
All this in mind, the Black Knights went behind the back of the UN to sell out Zero for Japan, screwing over their allies because they decided they had no way to win independence without Zero but couldn't trust Zero anymore, so at least they'd get something.
It's honestly a very realistic reaction given the scenario.
