What's worse is they always give that modern lingo to female characters regardless of the setting, it's like the male writers can no longer imagine a woman if she's no longer speaking in a condescending bitchy Instagram whore voice.

Frankly don't see anything wrong with those. It's modern audiences playing the game. Do you want there to only be a single option where you say "of course, abbess" again and again? Because historically that's what anyone would have done before an authority figure like that.
