I thought Act 1 was rough, Act 2 is fucking kicking my ass.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT I JUST -2ND TRIED- THE CHOIR CLAPPER BUMRUSH FIGHT.
This is my favorite fucking fight in the game now. Phantom a close second so far. The first time I was just in the zone and handled everything and got to the double niggers but with no items. The 2nd time I decided to not use items a single time and held onto ALL my poison sawblades and boomerangs. I actually managed to arrive at the final two with full health and just unloaded all my sawblades on these faggots. They fucking melted. Only used half my boomerangs too.

This is the turning point of my Silksong career, I can feel it. This fight just turned me into a man.

Checked damage number of most things. My nail and tool pouch are fully upgraded. Note that for spells, I used shaman crest, it seems to increase spell damage by 10-15%, was too lazy to retry with a normal crest.

Break the neck of one of the jailers, escape, sneak around collecting your clothes, tool, and needle, steal a key and escape. You could also fully explore the map, finding every flea, and slowly advancing the caravan until it stops at the Grand Gate and bypass the Judge fight.

Trobio 2.0 was not nearly as bad as I was lead to believe. That said, you know what the beast crest really needs? For empowered attacks to not be blockable, like silk attacks. Every fucking boss in Act 3 seems to be in an autododge or blockstate 50% of the fucking time so the crest's gimmick just falls on its face.

I spent hours fighting the fucking Beastfly, and I'm simply not having fun. I don't have the kind of autism required to enjoy repetition over hours and hours of gameplay. The boss is overall basic - it's just a huge fucking hitbox that flies back and forth at an insane speed, shreds your health with literally every touch, summons random mobs that might be fine or might be literally impossible to avoid, and then either destroys them or not (depending on more RNG because of inconsistent hitboxes). It's not a complex pattern, it just requires surgical precision and pure luck. You could say it's NES Silver Surfer difficulty, and I'm just too old for this shit.

Mount Fay is definitely Path of Pain-tier, and perhaps more difficult altogether, if you factor in how Hiveblood gives you a reliable crutch with PoP. Nice to have the double jump though.

Just managed to beat First Sinner after like 50 or more tries.
Funnily enough, I didn't even get mad during it, the fight felt both challenging as fuck but also fair in a weird way. Every time I died it was obviously due to my own mistake rather than rng bullshit or minions spawned by the boss. Easily the most intense boss fight thus far.
