game is like a polished version of a flash game from 2004-2007. honestly kind of eerie seeing how zombielike npcs are and shuffling towards the same thoughts only because everyone else is thinking them and so they don't have to have any of their own. nothing wrong with the game it's a fine game but it's also not the best thing ever and there were better free games on newgrounds 20 years ago the only difference being those games lacked an environmental artist.

It's just like Expedition 33. A decent game but not the GOAT or whatever. It's actually crazy how the NPC meme is apparently real because if people are told to hype something, it's a 10/10 before it even releases no matter what. Silksong is ok, it's a solid 8 just like E33. But it'll get a 95 on metacritic and be considered the best metroidvania of all time because it was hyped.
