I own a PS5 and PC and I enjoy using them both. PS5 is good for new games, and the PC is good for older games like TF2, counter strike. etc

Shouldn't your pc be stronger than a ps5 why wouldn't you just play all games on it.

Why so drastic?
My PC is hooked up to a neat TV set in the same room (office space) with a 1 person comfy couch-esque seat. I got another one of those seats in my living room I can pull up for some couch co-op if the need arises. You can get a decent 4k 144hz monitor or TV pretty cheap if you don't grab some oversized model. Mine's 45" or something since I'm sitting pretty close to it. All it takes is a 5-10m HDMI cable and organizing the room for it.

Get a Nvidia Shield and a Xbox wireless controller dongle in the living room. It has the Steam Remote Play app. That's how I play in the living room.

ps5 for physical releases that are important. i.e trails in the sky remake, stellar blade, devil may cry 5, spyro etc

pc for those pc-like games, games that always require an internet connection, games stuck on shitty consoles, mods/double dipping, keeping the library unique. i. e witcher 3, fairy tale, final fantasy 14, skyrim, metal gear rising, etc

nintendo switch for those sweet nintendo exclusives and at times digital only games that feel like they belong to a portable i. e xenoblade X, streets of rage 4, mario odyssey, super monkey ball banana rumble, star ocean first departure, star ocean second departure (remake)

chink device like a retroid pocket mini v2 for all consoles up to Wii U generation (optional if already have a PC but worth it for a dedicated retro space)

PS5 is the better deal considering the lower upfront cost compared to a similar gaming PC and all the money you save buying the 0 games the PS5 has.

I also have a ps5 and a PC and don't see the point of having the ps5 because there's absolutely no overlap between the two and ps5 is expensive as fuck with the high game prices and subscriptions.

I have a single PC that plays literally all games.
I play it from my bed after work and on my days off.
If i ever feel like siting in a couch i just stream the video to my TV (Ironically the input delay is lower than console native) which i rarely do as my PC gaming from bed is comfy enough.
I used to own consoles but to me they ware literally DRM i had to pay for to play a select number of games and ironically i would play them on my PC display.
