A lot of the design philosophy in this game feels like Dark Souls 1 vs 2. There seems to be a complete misunderstanding of what made the original HK, and the wrong aspects were amplified. Things like excessive platforming, everything doing 2 damage (including environment), 90% of the mask fragments being locked behind the last 20% of the game, and even egregious shit like putting a hard boss at the end of a platforming gauntlet, putting flying projectile enemies in platforming gauntlets, or the retarded bench traps
