but those days are gone. if Valve ever release HL3 you'll see the stark contrast in how Alyx and Eli speak to the player, or rather in the type of wish-fulfilling, appealing propaganda they DON'T provide any more. you'll see what I mean if they ever make that game. eli will not be begging for you to breed his daughter any more. alyx will be more sarcastic, less feminine, less vulnerable, less needy etc.
