I use Krita too but I don't know how to color either. What I do is use the colorize mask to immediately fill the canvas with flat colors and then add layers of flat shadows in multiply mode and light in overlay on top. That somehow works for me, I hope it helps.

That mayyyy be the issue. You should be able to change your framerate though. Go to your file > Animation > TImeline > Change Framerate. Idr if it asks you if you want to keep it the same or not, but allow it to change it for you. I usually only do 15 fps or 24 fps (for that .clip it was 24).

Don't worry, I got you! I'm not sure how yours is setup, but where your layers are you *should* have something called "Auto Action". When you find that, click it then click that tiny square with the down arrow. It should pull up a with all your downloaded autos and it should say the name. All you have to do it click on it. When you want to a frame/cel, click on the "duplicate cel" in the Auto Action column.

Sorry, meant to reply to this too, got too distracted with auto action lol. You should! Your work looks amazing as well, and it's so clean. I wish I could offer some good advice, but I'm still trying to learn as well and got a while to go. It's mostly just been trial and error. Keep making small things and start moving onto the big stuff when you get too comfortable. Also, reaching out to other animators or looking through their stuff has been extremely helpful. -And never delete your files out of frustration <- Huge one.

I use Mega to share my art anonymously and in my experience and research on the subject they keep your data very separate from users accessing your folders via the generated links.
The only problem would be if you upload files with hidden exif metadata (gps,location,time,name etc) such as images directly from your phone camera. 4chan scrubs this when you upload images to post but Mega doesnt. Or if you initiate a transfer between two Megas directly then the reciever can see your username.

If you wanna be extra safe just make a new Mega using a new email and keep them separate from your other stuff

You can spread the flat colors with any brush, even the ink pen. For shading and highlights find ones that work for you. You can do the shade with same ink pen and then use soft eraser to make the switch from no shade to shade gradient or use pencils or crayons pr airbrush or any brush that gives the texture you like. For soft highlights you can use airbrush or wet paint brush with lower opacity. For hard high lights ink pen.

Also using krita, i've always been pretty bad at painting. I think i've improved a bit recently by just playing around with the air brush, once i feel like i had a passing understanding on shadows/lights i tried adding a hard brush to it and i'm a bit happier with it now. Your art impresses me so much. On-model Sonic artists always get my vote. Love the body language and outfit.. However, a few key things.
Sonic girls work best with either 3 or 4 toe pawfeet, looks weird with two.
I think the boobs would be a bit lower.
Stop saving as jpg, it kills the color quality and adds artifacting.
Post larger sizes as when you shrink them it kills the quality of the linework.

A lot of artists have only used it as an archive site they occasionally post to on the side. They publish all their new works on twitter, popiku, skeb, patreon, or any other site, and maybe update their pixiv archives once a month. Many have quit entirely because they care more about amount of views they get, and unless you're insanely lucky to get blessed by a front page feature, it's hard to push through the sheer amount of AI slop. The site also lacks a good tagging system so boorus beat it on that front.

I don't know if there's also some current cultural pushback against pixiv for some of its policies, but I recall there was some drama about it years before? Maybe someone can elaborate. Either way pixiv seems a shell of what it used to be and disabling AI content just shows how shallow it's become.
