This thread is probably gonna die but to the random anon who might read this thread. if you like or don't mind roll slop it's honestly a solid 7.5 out of 10 roll slop game with a cute main character and I have yet to see anything woke in it despite being a 2022 game.

Yeah she gets multiple alternate costumes. They're just for looks and don't effect her stats which I like. I bought this game on sale the other day for $15 with the dlc it's not a bad buy if you can find a key on sale for your preferred platform.

I did tho. It was okay. Not great, but not bad either. I really liked hilda's character, and it's a shame I won't get to see her grow more since it's likely the game won't get a sequel.
I also played maelle's game.
Now I wait for ryn's.

I played it last week when I was looking for something relatively short from my backlog before silksong, I enjoyed it a fair bit

things I liked
>start with all weapons so you're free to experiment and find your playstyle
>world design is surprisingly great and reminds me a lot of Dark Souls 1 with how interconnected things are and how they end up looping back to the hub area
>level design is also good with varied paths and little shortcuts throughout, most levels also have their own gimmicks to keep things varied

that said
>I wish there were more rewards for exploration, usually it's just some rando consumables, at least ores are good cause they serve as upgrade materials
>chests feel really weird with their pseudo single player battle pass style thing, I guess at least it's neat that it's something to go for in NG+
>bosses are alright for the most part but nothing really special either
>there's way too much yapping, I tried engaging with it at first but I quickly gave up and just started skipping nearly all dialogue, just quickly skimming the text for directions on next quest steps and other gameplay related things, there might be an interesting world and story under all this but it just did not grip me
>I also wish there was more enemy variety and the final level had more exploration but I also get there are limited resources when developing a game so this is more of a "in an ideal world" sort of thing

I really enjoyed her game. Some flaws sure, like how the quest works, and letting the writer go completely free. Threre is some really good writing in it, someone on the team had to be a huge romanboo.
Would also recommend going into the ini file to remove the weapon sheath, Hilda have a top tier ass

I recently booted it up to find I actually modded it at some point. I think? Trying to pick between playing it or Haydee 3.

Gave it a try and it's really fun.
Daggers + Staff combo is great, Daggers have a fast roll and Staff has an attack that pushes me back without losing stamina, is that not kinda broken in these kinds of games? I can just spam that.

Based and curve-pilled. Game was mid but watching Hilda dodge roll in slow-mo while the camera accidentally zooms on her ass made it all worth it. Would've been a 5/10 without her, solid 7 with the tight pants mod.

Shitty dark souls quest designs and no good walkthroughs exist so you could see if you have finished the quest.
