Maybe if you're a n00b but Kirby is actually a pretty deep and intellectual game. Especially Super Star, one of the smartest games ever made. PlayStation game "Klonoa" is a little smarter individually, though.

That's a good game to emulate, because you can overclock the NES CPU and it gets rid of the slowdown.
That game is 100 times better without slowdown.
