Symphonia was always kinda ugly, yeah, though you were never supposed to see things super up close most of the time. The PS2 version's even worse, everything got murdered by compressing it down, and of course that carried to the remasters.

I'm sure there are other frustrating parts that just aren't springing to mind at the moment. And I fucking LOVE Symphonia but holy hell the dungeon design ain't it.
