This game is pure garbage. The combat is baby easy, but if you fall into the water you can't even see while platforming, you die and have to go through 10 screens once again to get your souls back... But what you didn't know is that the big jellyfish shoots an explosive projectile after death or that the black ghost can shoot a hadouken so you die again and lose all 1200 souls you collected! Fucking trash piece of shit design. Also platforming is bad.

The combat is easy but I found it fun, the exploration and environments are pretty cool.

I know it gets sell as a soulslike while being just like any other metroidvania, but I would still say it's a good game

I think it's alright. It's not exactly the supreme archetype of video gaming. It doesn't really do anything better than Super Metroid unless you just want to do the same things but more.
Honestly I felt it overstayed its welcome and needed less obnoxious spike puzzles and more boss fights. But it was a serviceable metroidvania beyond that. 7/10.

The game is as hard or as easy as you want it to be. For example, if you choose to become "Overcharmed", you'll take double damage but get access to builds you wouldn't normally have.
