Visual novels are unnecessary.
If the story was as good as people claim, then it would be a book on store shelves and on the New York Times Bestseller list.
Ironically, being a book would also give it more potential to avoid the kind of criticism normalfags level at porn VNs because literature is allowed to have those kinds of content and get away with it for some reason.
If Murray Massa was directly converted to a novel as-is, it would be laughed off the shelves because it's garbage and cannot stand on its own two legs as a literary work. It isn't as well-written as people claim -- it's only "well-written" by the incredibly low standards of other VN sludge.
