I had issues with moorwing, mostly because his charge would suddenly end midway if he hits the invisible arena borders.

Anyone else been seeing people moaning about being filtered by The Savage Beast fly early on? I had to do it a few times to get used to him but it was not this insurmountable headache monster I keep seeing

The fight has a heavy RNG influence, it can be much harder or easier depending on what actually spawns during the fight. I don't think there's an impossible scenario or anything, but you can very easily trap yourself in some of the configurations. I think a lot of people aren't getting the boss to smash the spawns consistently either.

I think it's a missed opportunity to not utilize the spiky creatures that extend the spikes as something you can hit to damage the boss when it ground pounds.

I was thinking the same thing at the time, there are a number of these sorts of interactions that I was a little surprised didn't work out, given how much care is put into everything else. Then again, maybe it does damage him, I haven't used a health bar mod or anything to verify anything on my end.

How they went for me:
>moorwing
>anything that isn't a sawblade attack: just fuckin hit him
>single saw blade: literally just jump and hover over it
>sawblades that go both directions: run a little to either side and hover until the saw goes under you, if you went really far away he's probably going to charge, you can get a divekick in, if you were closer just run back up to him and smack him
>if it's the double saws in one direction: there's a pretty wide sweetspot in between where they both start flying up, just hover in there for like a second and you're good to run back in
>bonus points for getting the old man to assist you making this even easier

Can't say from experience, but I assume none of the fleas disappear if you miss them in act 1. I had less than 15 fleas when they moved the second time though, so I think it just requires getting to act 2 for them to move again. Apparently act 3 changes some of the world so you might need to collect them all before then, but I'm not that far yet so I don't know if that's true.

I feel bad that I never got to Sonic Frontiers' Final Horizon DLC before they slashed the difficulty on it.

And Last Judge needs to be defeated first. Whoever said you can use them as a shortcut for Last Judge is full of shit, they literally move into her arena after she's dead. The fleas will NOT move even if you're in Act 2 unless you kill Judge and then talk to them.

Moorwing is accidentally (temporarily) skippable. Sister splinter is mandatory, though. I obviously don't know where you're at. But at 15 hours in, you should get to it soon.

The game unironically needs more nerfs still. Just beat The Last Judge, phase 2 has so much HP and you can only punish like 2 moves, and only 1 consistently. Literally unloaded all of my tools (with poison) and it still took forever. Once you know how to dodge all of the attacks it's not even hard anymore. Can a fanboy explain what's the appeal of this design?
