1 was ok, 2 and 3 were pretty good, psp/vita games are also praised a lot and the multiplayer was fun

Going to likely play it next on my PS3. Just beat Dante's inferno, is it fun? Tried to go back And play the original and it aged too much for me

Another game that did the secondary fire function well was Firewarrior. Charging up the plasma guns to pass through multiple targets, two shot capabilities for the bolters and shotguns and reving up the pulse chainguns. If you do the last one just right you can use the wind up function to essentially boost the firerate briefly via animation canceling.
