- Creator left in the huge scare of the #MeToo era where Sony completely changing their internal game review process to be set in California, even for Japanese only games, with several developers claiming Sony was cracking down on sexualization at the time.
- Marvelous lost faith in the series with Takaki leaving, shoving Senran Kagura to the moba and gacha mines.
- Takaki was a huge a Sonyfag for some reason, despite the series starting on Nintendo consoles, so he took Sony's new policy as a complete defeat as if he had no alternatives to continue the series elsewhere.
- Even with the #MeToo era scare dying a little, and Sony of all things allowing a sexualized game to slip through the cracks once in a full moon, now we have the hysteria of caring about fictional characters ages, and that screws the public perception for Senran Kagura even further since many of the girls are 16 to 17 year olds, so the series is still fucked either way.
