Truly the TOTK of indie games, though at least I bothered to finish TOTK, I straight up dropped SK after getting the dash because the map is fucking boring as hell

I think the mistake in general is not just implementing journalist mode. Games ought to just invest in doing it to sideline the whole argument, though with how act 3 requires you to actually be not a retard I don't see how it would help.

I think Silksong's difficulty is justified. A big focus of this game is combat and bosses, which I thought were boring in the first game despite being a main selling point. In this one I think they actually have interesting movesets, and not only that the difficulty encourages you to get creative and use all of the mechanics which the first one completely lacked.
