I just got a new job so I'm going through the rounds meeting and introducing myself to 15 new coworkers a day for the last few weeks. It's absolutely unreal how everyone's first question immediately after your name is "are you married?" or "do you have kids?", and the looks people give you when you say no. It's pretty normal to have achieved a lot of things at that age, pretty much everyone have a degree, a career path, long lasting relationships and even kids at 35. If you don't have that you're an anomaly and people will look at you like that, it's just how humans are.
