80s arcadechads:

>creates the most soulful and popular RPG series of all time
>it becomes the most profitable IP in history

This spergs complain about the bugs and imbalance of gen 1 but it did not affect the experience at all. Pokemon is good when it was an RPG first and a pokemon game second.

That's a strange way to make an arcade thread but alas. I wasn't playing arcade in the 80s and I don't do any of the things listed under "modern arcadefags" there again I was playing them in the 90s instead

One of the Gamefreak guys was interviewed on Game Center CX. Pretty interesting hearing about how dedicated he was hanging out in the arcades all day writing down strategies and rumors
