i had an acer nitro 5 because it's the only gaming laptop i could find without the "gamer" aesthetics. the last thing i want are my students finding out i play videogames

it had a 3060m and a ryzen 7 5800h so it was okay as a gaming machine, was able to play through cyberpunk at 40-50 fps on high settings at native resolution (1080). it was more than enough both for work and some gaming during my down time. my brother gifted me a microsoft surface pro 11 though so i sold my acer got a proper PC

i mentioned both the lenovo legion and the asus zephyrus laptops and those both look like regular thin and light laptops. part of why i like them. never had a razer laptop but the razer blades also dont look like the typical gamer laptop

im using a XMG Neo 16
I personally will never get an ASUS gaming laptop just for the fact I never like the way they used the owl motif.
Idk whose bright idea was it to name their company's premium line STRIX, they are literally one of the most digusting looking mythological creatures

does anyone actually buy from this website? they charge exorbitant prices for adding extra shit like more ram or another ssd i cant imagine people actually pay when they could do it themselves especially those in the market for a gaming laptop

Depends on the model youre getting. Most of them are using clevo models as their base so you can probably find a different distributor with the same clevo model for a cheaper price if you really want to min-max pricing
