It doesn't take twice as long at all. And a 33% boost in healing is actually pretty big.
It means that you can take two two-damage hits for every heal without being set-back whatsoever. Unlike how you'd slowly lose one mask at a time when doing the same without multibinder.
Like especially in the early game.
When you've only got 5 hearts, you can take two, two-damage hits and then heal once. But then if you take two two-damage hits more and you're already dead.
Meanwhile with multibinder you can fight indefinitely provided you never get hit more than twice for every heal.
Aerial heals and dashing/sprinting makes healing very safe regardless.
Also. The principle still stays the same even in the late game even if you've got more masks. One heal being able to mitigate two full hits instead of being left with a net negative is pretty huge.
