I think Stardew would be a perfectly legit psychological testing for OCD and even austism. If the player starts to sperg out that they didn't do 100% everything perfect in the first month on the game on their first ever playthrough even thought you have plenty of time to do everything then you have your diagnosis.

as soon as I heard that your grandpa's ghost haunts you and is on your ass if you didn't autistically minmax everything perfectly after year 2, it poisoned my enjoyment of my game because it went from comfy farming game to spreadsheet and wiki hell. I play games like stardew valley to be told I'm the greatest guy on the planet, all the females should be hungry for my cock and all the males should want to become my friend. I should be the hero of the village that earns a morbillion gold. I want approx 0% judgement of how I've played the game. That's why I pick the cutesy pixel art game about farming out of my library. If I wanted a "serious" game I'd pick a serious game.

It's a point system, there's multiple ways to get enough to succeed without being minmax'd. And like the other anons said, you get multiple chances and aren't kicked off the farm like Harvest Moon for not getting married.
