0.3 is tons of fun, I skipped last season but this one is amazing. im always excited to see the league mechanic and get super excited when I get the abyss to jump in for more loot. also the four horsemen are cool as fuck and can happen in or outside the crypts. the new desecration mechanic is fucking awesome, gear progression is no longer a slog.

if you havent played the new league, it just started and it's the best league I've ever played. their changes to tiers for crafting orbs is amazing, you can resocket runes is amazing, the new essence system is actually good, and I actually get good loot from white chests very often for some reason.

also armor is fucking god tier now, my warrior feels so much better in survivability while still being top damage and clearing

0.3 is actually pretty good, since it addresses at least some of the problems the game had on EA release (ironically, it does so by moving more towards POE1 in terms of mechanics).

0.3 is fantastic. The game gets better with every patch. At this trajectory, 1.0 will be the greatest game ever created. The only thing I hate with 0.3 is the living blood affix on some abyssals that melts you in 3 seconds.
The fact that I hear "game is too easy" paired with "game is too hard" as the only real complaints of the game, shows that crybabies don't even know what they're upset about and thus their criticism is invalid.

Balancing around WASD movement is likely the only thing left for GGG to differentiate both games with. At some point you have to look past all the staple genre mechanics and just think about players' mechanical input. Build variety will eventually mean nothing when there are enough games on the market supporting the same build concepts. Only mechanical input will remain as a way to differentiate between the same build concept in two different games. People have played the same builds so many times across so many games that they only care about whether it's better in the next game.

The problem is it's trying to be different from poe1 but keeping the same enemy behaviors/swarming that lead to the room clearing meta that clashes with the slower methodical combat and combo chasing 2 wants to be.

Reminds me of Destiny 2 and the hype when Activision cut them loose, only to make the game even greedier and shittier.

Not sure how anybody can play this game and not see that it has potential out the ass. Just need to clean up some things. Tree shouldn't be so fuckhuge that it takes forever to path anywhere, get rid of the downsides on 90% of the nodes and uniques where downsides exist, more power needs to be given to ascendancies, endgame probably just need to be completely reworked.. All things that can and most likely will be fixed in time.
