I don't get this way of thinking. There's no difference whether you play the same game for 60 hours or 10 games for 6 hours. I'm just happy if I can put even 1-2 hours a day into something I enjoy and it lasts a long time without having to be always looking for something new.

It's not so much too big as it is too empty. Were there more to it than 75% open fields and copy-paste dungeons, it would be as engaging as Demon's Souls. Riding an arcade-y horse across vast expanses just isn't as enjoyable as the cozy, diorama style maps of the other games; and when you can just teleport around the map, it ironically renders that wide, open, empty space utterly redundant.

There's a massive difference. You reach the end game a lot quicker, are the credits, and the pacing is usually better in short games with much denser gameplay. I would rather play through the entirety of The Devil may cry games than sit through the Witcher 3. I would rather play through a bunch of Bing Bing Wahoo's than play Skyrim again.

I don't know, maybe I get to greedy. He just seems to two shot me and I die from madness. Parrying works every time. Consort Radahn is easier for me but looks more imposing so maybe I treat him like he's scary. I haven't even bothered to try to beat Midra on my RL1 run.

The boss that really wrecks my shit is Senessax. I have no idea why I can't beat him easily when Bayle is usually an easy tap.

Oh, Senessax was a pain for me, too. He doesn't have a lot of obvious openings and he hardly ever does the easily punishable attacks during the second phase. That meant the fight stagnated and I ran out of estus and died. Bayle is far more "fair" in comparison.
