That fort on the hill is proto-brutalism
Brutalism, especially when it's not being "expressed" by jewish "architects" is fundamentally a strong, overbearing, fortress-like construction that should be framed in a position within its environment as a place of safety and refuge from danger.
Even the waterside stonework in your image is proto-brutalist. So are old city walls, and the many medieval forts and star forts across Europe.
Brutalism however lacked an element of soul, and was being mis-used (especially by soviets and aforementioned jews) in places where it didn't fit - like the middle of cities, where the sense of refuge instead transformed the building into a looming presence of oppression.
In America, this problem with Brutalism was resolved by returning elements of humanity back into the architecture, in a sort of throwback to Gothic styles - decorations, gargoyles, etc. Not ostentatious however, but elegant. This style was called Art Deco. The Nazi's too, started to do similar with their own form of Brutalism.
And then jews won WW2 and have destroyed architecture ever since.
