He's not a "speedrun analysis autist." He's a hobbyist (Possibly professional) computer scientist from a small community of people picking apart Super Mario 64 and the N64. There's an open challenge in that community to determine the absolute minimum number of times the A button strictly needs to be pressed to complete the game, and prove it on actual hardware. He made a video explaining one of the more esoteric ways they cut down the need for A presses, and presented it really well. And it just so happens that the TAS community happen to have really fun names for things that don't occur in normal gameplay. He explained them so casually and clearly that they kind of just feel like legitimate mechanics in the game. The absurdity combined with the high quality presentation and his charming, autistic personality became a meme.
